Traffic lights (according to Law no. 22/2009 on Traffic and Road Transport: signaling traffic tool or APILL) is a light that controls the traffic flow which is attached at a crossroads, a pedestrian crossing (zebra crossing), and place the flow of other traffic. These lights that indicate when the vehicle should run and stop alternately from different directions. Traffic control at the intersection of the road is intended to regulate the movement of vehicles in each group movement of the vehicle in order to move alternately so as not to interfere with each other between the existing flow. Traffic lights have been adopted in almost all the cities in the world. This lamp uses universally recognized color; to signify stop is red, carefully marked in yellow, and green which means it can run
Traffic light control system said to be good if the traffic lights were installed to run both automatically and can adjust to the density of traffic in each lane. This system is referred to as the actuated controller. And below I do simulation by using proteus with Arduino UNO R3 using the microcontroller.

Problem Definition

A. Intersection of Three
Here is a picture intersection of three who became the object of the problem and the place where the traffic light controller is placed


B. Conditions Traffic Lights

The following events are conditions that may occur at the junction of three.
Condition 1: Stay way from A to B and or turn right into C.
Condition 2: Stay way from B to A and or turn left to C.
Condition 3: Stay way from C to A and turn left or turn right onto B.

C. Definition of measures

1. Step 1: Red light for A, B, C.
Step 1 is a safe state during power outages where the traffic conditions at the intersection of three became trouble.
